ABOUT ME
Jing Zhang received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from The Erik Jonsson School of Engineering & Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas, in August 2015. His Ph.D. work was under the supervision of Dr. Kenneth K. O, the director of Texas Analog Center of Excellence. His research focused on ultra-wide tuning signal generation in CMOS for millimeter-wave rotational spectroscopy, sponsored by Semiconductor Research Corporation through Texas Analog Center of Excellence.
Jing received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering, both from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively.
From 2007 to 2009, Jing was an analog IC design engineer and design manager with Innosilicon Inc., Wuhan, China, where he was involved in several pioneering works in high-speed interface PHY IP development in China.
In Spring and Summer 2015, Jing was a mmWave design intern at Broadcom Corp., Irvine, CA, where he worked on RF front-end circuit design and verification for Broadcom's 60GHz wireless communication (WiGig) chipset.
From October 2015 to Feb 2020, Jing worked for major automotive chip makers, including NXP and ON Semiconductor, where he participated in the development of cutting-edge mmWave CMOS radar sensors for automotive applications, from concepts to massive production.
In March 2020, Jing joined Anokiwave, the industry leading chipset provider for silicon-based beamforming ICs for mmWave 5G active antenna. The products he worked on have been deployed in the US major 5G carriers' networks.
